How do you both follow a tiktok trend AND use up scrap yarn at the same time? With my new puffy quilted belt bag crochet pattern!

You can get my Puffy Quilted Belt Bag here at HELLOhappy, ravelry, etsy, and ribblr.

If you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about when I say "tiktok trend" then let me just show you the bags I mean:

This particular bag is having a moment. Granted, trends move out every 2 months on that app, so it's probably already uncool. However, I thought the idea was cute, so I decided to incorporate it into a belt bag design!

I've actually been wanting a phone-sized bag for myself for a while, and I'd also been trying to come up with a way to use some of my scrap yarn, so this pattern actually checked a whole bunch of boxes! You can definitely use all one color for this bag and it'll still be super cute, or you can buy a few colors and actually plan it out. Personally I just grabbed everything I had and tried to make it work!

This is an intermediate level pattern. The crochet itself is easy, but if you haven't done many projects that involve small parts being sewn together, it will be challenging.

The bag is also fully lined with a zipper and includes a tutorial on how to do that, as well as how to create the adjustable strap. It's easier than you think!
